Unfortunately
we were just informed that author, Mary Gilliatt is unable to attend our
scheduled February General Meeting.
However, we hope she will be able to speak at one of meetings in the
spring. We are busily planning another
program for February’s meeting.
GRNNC is a
woman’s social club with many day and evening activity groups to name a
few: Art Appreciation; Needlecraft; Sewing;
Book Clubs; Casual Dining; Wine Tasting; Bridge; Lunch Groups; Local Travel
Trips; Photography; Genealogy and Let’s Speak Spanish Group.
Monthly
General Meetings (with a new program) are held on the 3rd Thursday of the
month at St John Neumann Church,
Lawyers Road
in Reston.
Some of our recent programs for your information: September: Annual Sign
Up for Activities; October: Beauty and the Mature Women; November: Elder Law
Attorney; December: Luncheon at McCormick and Schmick’s; January:
Chinese and Silent Auctions. Some
upcoming programs in planning stages are a “Feel Good Fair” and a
Fashion show. General Meetings are
open to both members and non-members.
GRNNC hosts a
“Coffee” each month at a member’s home. If you are interested in attending a
coffee, please contact me. In
addition, we hold three to four Special Events each year; “Game
Night” on March 6 for GRNNC members.
Annual
Membership Fee is $25 and a membership form is available on this
website.
General meetings
are cancelled if Fairfax County Public Schools are closed or scheduled to
open 2 hours late but will take place if scheduled to open 1 hour late.
